Our Story
HER SHIELD KENYA COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION (CBO), hereafter referred to as Her Shield Kenya, was established to protect, empower, and uplift women and girls through advocacy, education, capacity building, and community-centered development initiatives.
Founded by committed community champions, Her Shield Kenya was born out of the need to address gender-based violence, inequality, and limited access to opportunities. We work hand in hand with communities to promote dignity, safety, social justice, and economic independence for women and girls across Kenya.
